Notes

A variation of the Monongahela Shawl. It is different enough to be written up separate. I am writing it up right now as ‘Youghiogheny.’

I will write this up eventually.

The neckline instead of being a circle is a ‘shawl neck,’ that is it was started flat like a neck-down shawl then at a certain point the 2 corners crossed and then it was worked in the round.

I also skewed the lacebands so that instead of stacking directly on top of each other legs of the triangles meet with the point of the next one.

I need to add my yardage. LOL!
About 500 yards. Probably more like 450, but I can’t say for certain.

It started with 8, um er 7, that’s 7 repeats but when joined in the round there were 10 repeats. It has 7 lacebands.
