Entered into the 2016 Allen County Kansas fair.

Needed a quick project for a purse/bag category in the county fair. This little coin purse works up very quickly. It will make a nice little dice bag, coin purse, chapstick carrier, etc. I’ve lined this one so coins should be fairly safe in it. This one is a little small for a cell phone, but that’s easily fixed. I’ll just make another one thats a little taller.

In an attempt to save money (I didn’t have any of the little rings that the pattern called for), I used a ponytail holder instead. My thinking was that this could serve as a handle/wrist-thingy. I don’t like the way it looks though.

I don’t think I like the yarn for this one. It needs more structure or something. But maybe another one that’s a bit taller will look better. This one just looks squatty to me.
