2017-Jul-24: Finished 3 cakes of the Sweet Roll yarn and I was about 9” short of finishing the last of 3 repeats. So I finished the last round with the ILTY solid red. Then did a row of shells with picots for an edging.

Next time I try popcorn stitches, I want to try the Really Lazy Popcorn stitches described in a link from the afghan pattern.
