Back to my old ‘tried-n-true’ pattern for a baby blanket. None of the other patterns appealed to me at all.

I first started the blanket with Caron Cakes buttercream because the intended recipient of this (well his mom) prefers earthtone colors. But Caron Cakes has some wool in it, and I didn’t want to chance the baby having a sensitivity to wool. Beside, acrylic will be easy-care.

01-Feb-2015: I just could not live with the abrupt color changes in this yarn with this pattern. The project has been frogged and I’ll be looking for a project that likes this yarn better.
