This is Jack.

Jack is a member of ‘The Geebees’ collection, by hillandbenz, specially created after I contacted the designer regarding another of her designs, asking if she had a UK themed Bee in the planning. She decided to design one - or three (George & Andrew are the other two in the set) & kindly gifted me the pattern in return for my ‘suggestion’.

This amazing bee series of knitted toys (there are quite a few others as well) is inspired by the historic, iconic, Kiwi (NZ) wooden toy known as the ‘Buzzy Bee’ which is now also pretty much world famous.

Jack usually travels with us when we venture out on road trips in our Classic Sunbeam Cars. Because my husband is a beekeeper I thought Jack a rather appropriate mascot.
