I cast on 56 stitches with straight needles as suggested (3.0mm) and then changed to Addi Sock Wonder Fixed Circular Knitting Needles - 25cm (2.50mm).
Also kept a small crochet hook at hand for when I drop stitches.

K2, P2 rib for 16 rows

Knit 59 rows straight making 75 rows in total

Knitted 35 rows after heel turn and then finished toe but think I’m going to have to frog…it’s a little short

Frogged back to just before toe decreases after putting in a lifeline to add a few more rows which made 42 in total.
