want a 72 stitch sock with 4 strips:

72 + 4 =’s 76 cast on.

strips are to be 18 stitches wide each, so on first is 20 stitches (after other strips are added, the final stitch width will be 18 stitches).

the bottom of the foot is one piece (no strips). i didn’t want a seam underfoot.

using leftovers!

the first sock was knitted with leftovers that had the faux fair isle blips. for the second sock i used striping or variegated leftovers.
