These photos are of the series of vests I knit while working out the pattern. You can use the basic vest construction and add whatever motif, stripes, colors, etc you like. I suggest starting motif chart after shoulder shaping and a few inches down the back so not hidden under the collar. Also, when you get to part where you’re knitting fronts and back together it’s easier to chart out a design that goes around the torso.
