It was about time to crochet a blanket for Lavrentia (Luz-de-Luna), I’ve been thinking about it for quite some time (I know she won’t see this project description and photos, given they are not even happening). It’s the first part of a cold night emergency kit, some expansions are to follow.
I was about to use another pattern but I came across this one and it changed my mind at the last minute, so I made the blanket loosely based on it (the edging and the seams are different).
The yarn was simply amazing, very very soft and a pleasure to work with, the pattern was well written and beautiful, the whole project was like a dream, a perfection from the first to the last stitch. She deserves it and I hope she enjoys it while knitting/watching a movie/Skyping in the couch.
