A late night inspiration. I had already started a pair of fingerless gloves yesterday but, during a break for some tea, I thought I could use my aran and chunky leftovers for some gloves too. So,there they are.
I made rectangulars of one yarn in sc (I tried it with dc also but I didn’t like them that much) for half the one side, joined the other colour for the rest and then stitched them together. The pieces are a bit smaller than my hand but I made them this way so they fit well and they won’t be too loose. I then made one round of dc for the thumb and one round in the wrist to make them a bit longer (thumb and wrist extension is the same yarn in each glove but different between them, does that make any sense?). They are warm, they match my scarves and hat and they are going to be one of the many pairs I plan to have.
