Notes

I did the same pattern with a burgundy acrylic and I absolutely loved it! So, I am doing it again with a yarn of white acrylic with bits of colours in it. The yarn has a bit of a halo and I believe it’s going to be really beutiful. According to instructions by HRKC Luz-de-Luna I used a hook slightly bigger than I typically should have, so I did the chain with a 7.0 and the rest with a 6.0. Now it’s 25cm and growing.

Final update
The scarf was finished about an hour ago and it looks beautiful! Most of the scarf was done while skyping with HRKC Luz de Luna and that’s exactly how it finished. I know I have already done the pattern but it was much different to see it with such a different yarn. The yarn is not white, it’s more of an off white with bits of colour throughout and the result is colourful. It’s 1.60m long and I have no idea who is going to have it, but I know it will be a present. Can’t wait to start my next project, however it will not be Raf Scarf.

The scarf was given as a late birthday present to Chessie, a photographer friend here in London. I think she will enjoy it, she needs it and I think it suits her. What a precious feeling to give a handmade present and watching the smile and appreciation!
