Ocotber 12, 2015 - Grandma stole my skein of blue so I finished the last 12 rows and the seed stitch border with the remaining two colours. Ended up with a cowl rather than a blanket but it’s very pretty. Not quite long enough to wear like the Multi-way wrap, but can be wrapped double if one likes a snug fit (I don’t :P ). Washed, blocked and tucked away in the Christmas basket.

Bought this yarn during my first trip to Montreal to visit Robyn. Totally loved the colours and wanted to make the Multiway Wrap/Isis Wrap by Jan Henley from Lets Knit Magazine, Christmas 2013.
Last night I was watching the new Doctor Who with Nick and suddenly became bored with the project I was working on. I had also bought yarn yesterday and was in a panic over running out of places to stash it! This yarn is taking up valuable retail around here and was crying out to be used. So, I’m following the basic pattern for the wrap but turning it into a blanket. Cast on 140 stitches and hoping I have enough yarn!
Depending on how big it turns out I am thinking it will make a nice Christmas gift for Emmylou, a baby present for Mrs. Donovan’s 5th baby girl, or a throw for Trude. So many choices!
6 rows of seed stitch, 2 in each colour, then stocking stitch, 6 rows, 2 in each colour, then garter stitch 6 rows, 2 in each colour, with 10 stitches of seed stitch on each edge. Finished with 6 rows in seed stitch, then joined in the round.
Purple, Blue, Natural I think is the order I started with??
