October 8 - Frogged the cowl. I give up. This yarn doesn’t want to cooperate!! Maybe it just wants to be socks? …..Finished the first sock. Wish I had done a rounded toe as this came out quite pointy. But at least I finally have a finished object!

August 18, 2015 - Began as a Combination of Sonnensegel and Missoni Falls Cowl, was frogged, then it became socks. Frogged again. Enjoying my Lazy Sunday Cowl so much I thought it might work well there.. I’m going to use this yarn and get what I want if it kills me!

June 16 - Frogged. The Layette Plus was just too heavy - you really need laceweight for this to work I think. But I couldn’t combine Debbie Bliss Angel with an acrylic - it would block funny. Booo. I had such high hopes :(

May 31, 2015 - This is an attempt to make something that looks like this but that I am more likely to wear. I LOVED knitting Sonnensegel but I doubt it would get much use. Want to see if I can make this work…

May 31 - started w 200 stitches on 3.75 mm needles. WAY too big and too tight gauge. Trying 100 stitches and 4.5 mm needles.
May 31 - 100 stitches too narrow. Looks like sparkly longstocking. But needle size is right. Go back up to 200 and have at it. Going to be just right Goldilocks :)

Provisional cast on 160 stitches, joined in the round. Knit 6 rows in white, changed to stained glass and purled 12 rows. Alternating 12 rows knit with white, 12 rows purled (in the round) with stained glass. Plan is to end with 6 rows white and then join.
