A simple brioche + garter stitch pattern indeed: there was little fun (=intellectual challenge) in knitting.

Started off with 96 stitches (too many: for me yarn/needle combination, ~90 is optimal for plain two-colour brioche). After the bottom brioche band, increased it to 128. The cap’s not explicitly sloppy, though it’s not nicely snug either.

Got ~2cm/.8in of snowflake last night; not going to stay for long.
