Syncopated brioche patterns inevitably have two brk columns next to each other in some places on the “right” side, so on the “left” side there’re two brp columns, which doesn’t look appealing. In order to avoid that, I alternated averse & reverse side of the same pattern around the cap (five ones of either kind, 5×2×11 = 110 stitches around the cap).
