An earlier twin cap_01 hommage à Kaffe in another colourway (appears in some photos here).

Cast on 8×17=136 stitches (two-colour picot edge works better with an odd number of stitches in a segment); after the edge, added a stitch in each segment (8×18=144 stitches around the cap).

Since the floats were rather long (max 18 stitches), used back-ladder jacquard for managing them (see the last two images).

A chart enclosed (scroll down): the red and the pink columns represent the placement of the ladder-back jacquard columns at the back of the fabric. Just assume they’re black and white correspondingly if you are using another float management technique.
