The cap was inspired by Ithilien Brocade Stitch pattern, which I had knit into a cap before. Replaced the leaves of the original pattern with royal lilies. The thin purple lines that look like embroidered actually are one-stitch cables knit with twisted stitches (through the back loop) to make them stand out against the background.
