Had had the wonderful constructivist design in the mind for quite a while. Now it’s materialised in me favourite greys.

Slightly altered the decrease sequence in the petals as well as made the brp columns (on the ‘right’ side) that would branch into petals brk columns.

Knitting was great fun, indeed. :)

MIGHT BE USEFUL: since I’m extremely bad at purling, I reverse the direction of knitting after every sub-row & thus knit the other sub-row (of a pair) instead of purling it. There is another benefit of such an approach: you face alternatively either side of the knitting and have a chance of spotting possible mistakes (slipped yarn-overs) much sooner than with the traditional method.
At the point where the petals had acquired the full width (& knitting had become almost entirely purling), changed the direction of knitting.
