Notes

Absolutely in love with this new pattern by Amy! This classic silhouette makes this pattern a must-have for any knitter who is into the 1950’s style.

I made my version using a sparkly, cotton blend that is perfect for summer weather.

I’m so looking forward to making multiple versions with this sweater pattern!

Modifications:

  1. Used 3.00mm needles instead of 3.25mm to make the stitches denser, as I think my yarn is a little towards the light fingering range - but I was still able to get the same gauge after blocking my swatch!
  2. Sneaked in 4 stitches in total across the chest (2 at the front and 2 at the back when casting on extra stitches to join the shoulders pieces) as I was aware that cotton could have less stretch
  3. Added 10 more rounds of knitting at the bottom to make the sweater longer
