Just finished the shawl. It came out bright and cheerful and summery. Loved working with the yarn and pattern and am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this CAL.

I came to 13 repeats of rows with bobbles to match the advised dimensions, so my wingspan is now around 170cm and height 72cm - a fairly large shawl.

Some deviations from the pattern, accidental and not:

• I chained 7 instead of 6 at the beginning of each row for extra ease along the sides
• For some reason my bobbles bulge on the WS, but I think it doesn’t matter
• I didn’t read through the instruction for edging carefully and made 10 tr clusters in the edging instead of 13 tr. This probably made the picots more prominent but I like it anyway.
• In the edging, I alternated the 10 tr clusters with (2 sc, picot, 2 sc)
