CC White first time around - white Jacob but didn’t work well with the gray Romney so frogged it when I got to the sleeve attachment.
MC Gray - Ace In The Hole Romney.
CC ‘green’ second time around - naturally dyed some of the gray Romney with mixed vat Gymnopilus junonius and Phaeolus schweinitzii mushrooms for the olive green contrast.
Sz 6 needle for ribbing, sz 7 for body, sz 8 for colorwork.
2022: Started the body over. Not as much contrast as I would like, but I love it so far anyway. Just realized the colors are almost exactly what I used for my oft-worn Moving Forward Wrap, where I over-dyed gray with Oxalis flowers for contrast.
2021: The Lost Year. But I did knit a Lopapeysa and other smaller stuff. Naturally dyed the gray Romney with the mushrooms and polypore in 12/21.
2020: Was nearly done with body and up to sleeves, then stopped for 5 months and decided to rip out as I wasn’t that happy with the yarn in white portion. I like the pattern, so I will simply start over but will either dye the gray for the lower border or find a different yarn. Sleeves are done.
2022: Second time doing the placket. Will finish and wear one of these days.
