CO 43 sts
Row A: k8, p1, k1 to last 9 sts, p1, k7, sl1 wyif
Row B: k1, p7, k1, p1 to last 9 sts, k1, p7, sl1 wyif
Repeat rows A and B until piece measures 28,5 cm

I didn’t do the i-cord tails because the cloth can be fastened onto the tool without them.

Size can be easily adjusted by casting on more sts and increasing the k1, p1 rib in the middle.

Note on needles

Surprisingly, with this thick yarn, I like my Cubics (which I intensely disliked in another project using thinner yarn.)

To use the cloth

I clip it to the cleaner foot and spritz it very lightly with wood cleaner diluted with water. It picks up dirt and cat hair from a wooden floor without having to push hard at all. So it’s a great non-electric substitute for a vaccum cleaner.
