Nov’12 ~ Didn’t like the original length so I recently started reworking it and added grey trims. 2x2 mini cables on body ribbing as well as on neck and sleeves. Replaced buttons as well.

Gauge 20 sts = 4”
Size 36” (2” positive ease). Mods and sizing are based on a store-bought sweater.

Totally ignore back neck increase. Followed this section according to the pattern initially but didn’t like how it ‘puff up’ with the increases

Sleeves cap: inc every RS&WS row 3 times - start of with 6 sts between markers and inc to 18 sts. Then every RS row ‘X’ times - sleeves 48 sts

(At the same time) Chest inc 1 sts beg/end of each front every 4th row 6 times. 45/48/64/48/45

Start underarm shaping inc 4 times (4x4=16 sts) - before n after sleeves markers (work straight between markers)

Underarm CO 10 sts (x2) ~ body 190 sts.

Added waist shaping, dec total of 16 sts at 2 front vertical panels ~ body 174 sts.

Sleeves, work even 14 rounds dec 2 sts on 15th 1 time n every 10th round 4 times. Start ribbing till length reaches 1” after wrist.

Sep’11 ~ Will rework n lengthen body if have enough yardage.
