Started this a couple of times and can’t seem to get past the beginning. I’ll keep trying…

June 15 – Yes! I’ve got it going.

June 21 – I’m just starting the 5th round and I still haven’t run out of my first ball of yarn. At 5 rounds the shawl is quite small. I’ll have to do 6 rounds.

June 30 - Hm, not enough yarn for a full ruffle… it’s gonna be teeny. Hope it looks okay because I really don’t want to buy more yarn.

July 4 - Done! with about 1.5 meters to spare. I was only able to do about 7 rows on the ruffle – it’s compact but I think it looks okay. Even with the extra round the shawl is little.
