I really like the long look of this, but I know me and it would drive me nuts, so I am shortening it based on the measurements of a nighite I wear a lot. I am omitting the drawstring waist and casing for a 2x2 rib that I think will be more comfortable - and easier to get off ;) Also considering making the entire thing mesh for a little extra sexy. I can always wear a cami under it.d knit tomorrow.

7/18/11 - frogged it and started over in the round. killed me to do it, but I will have plenty of time to wait around and knit.

7/19/11 - frogged and restarted AGAIN. this pattern as written doesnt match the stitch pattern inthe picture. still not sure i’ve got it right, but I’m not frogging again.

7/21/11 - guess what? I frogged it AGAIN. i found a twist in it. can’t blame this one on the pattern. can only blame myself for casting on while hubby was in the post-op recovery room…. making good progreess now though. I knit 3” before the first decarease and I am going to do another decrease every 3” until I get down to the right stitch count for the casing which will be ribbing.

8/18/11 - got to where the casing goes today. I am working a 1x1 rib instead of the casing.

8/20/11 - ribbing done. i like it. starting the neck and armhole shaping. working the mesh above the ribbing as well. starting to go quickly now, but I need to pa attention to thise decreases.

8/28/11 - DONE! Thanks to Irene. Did a 3-needle BO for shoulders. Could have made it smaller, but it is comfy. Pictures will be up once our power/internet are back on.
