I chose Chatswood yarn, because I love it. River chose the colours for a new winter jersey.

Just tried the jersey on my grandson and it’s huge. Too big even for growing into any time soon. I made the 6-7 year size and my grandson is 7 but he is very small I’ve discovered. The 4 year old size will fit him. So I’ll have to undo and start again. I cut and secured the yarn between each stripe so it could be a mission.
Hopefully it’ll be finished before Winter is over.

I am up to the tenth pattern repeat on my remake of the jersey. The sizing looks better this time but I haven’t done a fitting yet. Changing colour for the stripes is a bit tedious but it will be worth it.

I made the jumper body and sleeves longer.

Made a matching hat.

Sadly someone put this jumper in the washing machine and it ended up about a quarter of the size and matted.
I think I need prominent hand wash labels on my garments.
