I love this design from Mon Petit Violon.
I spotted this beautiful wool, last time I was in the SkeiNZ shop and added it to my purchases.
The wool was very lovely to work with.It feels and looks so nice.
I discovered the pretty wooden flower buttons online and I bought 6.
I’ve used them all up already so I think I’ll get some more.
I modified the pattern a little.
I only worked 18 stitches for the sides instead of 22.
I did an extra row of single crochet (American terms) on the toe border that was shaped with a decrease at each side and in the centre of the toe .
Then I did another row of normal single crochet above that, using a slipstitch at the start and end of the row to make smooth shaping where the extra row joins the sides.
