Notes

The second attempt. I have his head measurement this time so it is easier to get the right fit.
7.4.15
One skein of wool used up.
I’ve had a few rows undone and repeated because of dropping stitches.
I don’t much enjoy this similarity to knitting. However it is good to expand my skills.
30.4.15
17cm wide.
I’m so pleased that this project is finished.
I didn’t enjoy working with all those stitches on my hook.
I dropped and missed stitches fairly often and had to undo whole rows, usually more than one, and redo them-Aaargh!
I think it might be easier to work in a lighter colour as I really had to concentrate on my stitches.
I avoided the project for a while, because I wasn’t having fun with it.
Anyway, it’s done. I hope that it fits Number One Son.
It is soft and thick and very warm. Moderately stretchy. I sewed the joining seam.
