I don’t know why I opened my mouth. I have never done any crochet like this. I am both dreading this & loving the challenge of it.

You wouldn’t think a chain 3, slip stitch border around the motifs would take that much yarn. But as you can see by the photo before the photo of the 7 motif blanket it takes quite a bit. I forget how much more yarn crocheting uses over knitting. Now if I could just figure out a easy way to knit this, lol.

I have finally finished adding all the motifs onto the blanket. Now getting ready to tackle the edging. Doesn’t look hard, just cumbersome. I do not think I will volunteer to do this one again unless I figure out how to do it in a knit version.
