Notes

The body section was awesome to knit - very straightforward and easy. I’ve now started the turtle section and, at my skill level, it’s a challenge at first. I wound up with a bunch of YOs when I did the M1 without switching the yarn from in front to in back (to knit). I think I caught them all but there was a bit of tinking and swearing to get that figured out. At least there are enough turtle repeats that you’ll have any new skills mastered by the end of the row.

Tiny stitches and blunt needles are testing my patience. Especially on PTBL. I get now why there are “lace needles” with pointier tips.

Oct 2/15: DONE! The wave edging felt like it took FOREVER and it was a relief to finally get it off the needles. I’m not sure I’m happy with the way I’ve blocked it but we’ll see how it looks once it dries. All in all, I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out.
