9/10/14 I cast on for a size 3-6 month sweater with different yarn and size 4 straight needles, but hated working on straights. I had a size 3 circular on hand, so I decided to switch to a different fingering weight yarn, cast on for a 6-12 month size sweater, and hope the sweater would turn out smaller, thus being the right size for my baby born in July. We’ll see, but so far I’m optimistic. I’m about 6 rows away from splitting for the arms, and so far it looks about right. I hate making gauge swatches for such tiny projects, since it uses so much yarn, so I decided to make a gauge sweater, hah!

11/17/14 Just going back to fill in notes on this project. I’m glad I used size 3 needles instead of 4s. Love this project!
