I left the I-cord edging off as I knit the body. Then I went back and picked up the edge stitches and knit the I-cord. This allowed me to distribute the I-cord stitches more densely at the lower edges of the fronts in order to keep them from pulling the lower edges up -- a look which drives me crazy. Notice this in the pattern photo.

I short-rowed the shoulder shaping and used the 3-needle bindoff at the shoulder seams.

Also, my mother did not want the button and loop so I left them off.
