Frogging attempt 1. This fade needs advanced assistance to not look very weird; skeins 1/2 and 4/5 are both very similar and the transition was just too stark.

Arm modification: adding an additional 4st from both the front and back to the held stitches for each arm, and using backwards loop CO to cast on 8st between the sides to make up for the stolen stitches. Might pick up a couple of extra stitches when I start the sleeve, undecided.

(update: picked up one extra stitch on each side to keep the ribbing aligned)

Okay, we’re going to a) make this cropped and b) actually full-on blouse the bottom of the brioche into the ribbing.

On the 30th brk round after arm divide, work a decrease round (decrease 48x, 96st in total):
