11/14/11: took it with me on my trip to England and got lots done; the body is just below the bust and i’m ready to do some waist shaping. it looks so good! love those Kureyon stripes. i need to order a few more skeins of yarn; i only had 6 and knew i would need more.

11/1/11: YAY! i cast on-- er, i mean started hooking-- and i’m so happy already! my plan is to randomly break the yarn and spit graft a new combo on whenever i feel like it’s time for a color change. i’ve been wanting a wacky wild stripey sweater so here we go!

swatched last night, and for the first time blocked my swatch. it grew a teensy but in the length only. i know the swatch looks drab but that’s because i chose a boring section of yarn to use for it.

began in earnest this evening, and am three rows into the neck shaping. i am doing this as part of NaKniSweMo, though for me it’s NaCROSweMo! i can’t find any other crocheters doing it though, so i had to join the knitters…
