Row 1: Ch 11, 10 hdsl, Rows 2-5: Hdsl blo. Row 6: (2 hdc in next st, 2 dc in next st) across. (20 sts). Row 7: Squish Factor Stitch (same as used in the afghan). I will end by narrowing to 10 hdsl and working 5 rows of ribbing (once I get the desired head circ., when somewhat stretched, so it fits nicely when worn.) Then sl st or whip stitch the rows of ribbing together to finish. I’m using 8ply NZ merino and an H (5.0 mm) hook.
