July 17, 2010: This project hibernated for a couple of months or more, now I’m determined to get it finished. The yarn I selected is striping, but I wish I had selected a self patterning stripe.

July 22: finished button bands
July 23: finished collar and working on pockets. I made a mistake and didn’t increase stitches across tops of the pockets, now I’m trying to decide whether to redo that part of if I can make it work.
July 24: redid the pocket, finished pockets and sewed sweater together.
July 25: agonized over button choice and ended up with little square buttons in 3 colors.
