Size 1 needles to get gauge with this yarn!!! I will not be working her entire knitted wardrobe at such a ridiculous gauge, but this dress will be special…

1/17 - The cabled yoke is finished and I’m several inches into the stockinette body. Goodness, it’s like torture! Fortunately, it’s also a very small project that can travel with me easily and I can pull it out to work in little bits.

1/21 - Despite the fact that I felt as though I was knitting with toothpicks, the dress worked up fairly quickly. And, it’s so stinkin’ cute!!! There’s a bit of finishing to do still: block it, find the right ribbon, sew on the button - the little details.
