Doubled this yarn to keep the head warm. This yarn felt rough to work with. It has a lot of chaff (hay) in the twist. Hubby picked it out because of the nice brown color.

Hat pattern results in a long crown closing with a gathering effect. Once hat was washed, had a nicer feel. Hubby says it’s poufy on top like a girls hat, but I’m sure it just feels that way because he has no hair to fill it.
