NOTE: This hat is too breezy for cold weather. Since I used larger needle sizes it resulted in a much looser airy knit. If knitting a cap for warm, downsize to 4 & 6 or 3 & 5 needles and adjust # of CO stitches for gauge & circumference or use thicker yarn

I cast on 80sts and ribbed with smaller needle to fit my tiny nugget. switched to larger needle and increased 8sts evenly around after ribbing to =88sts. Worked hat in pattern thereafter. Hubby found the best brown owl eyes!
