A perfectly named pattern - the Pure Joy shawl is truly a pure joy to knit! An easy, relaxing knitting project, perfect for TV and travel knitting!

This shawl project has become my “brain-relaxer” project - when I need a break from more complex projects, this project lets me knit away in that perfect zen-zone of “knit-laxation”!

So excited to be knitting my first Joji Locatelli pattern in our town’s newest (and greatest!) LYS Dances With Wool’s custom-dyed shop color “Shoreline” by Swift Yarns Simple. The subtle blue and green mix with the speckles of brown pair perfectly with the Log Cabin contrasting color. Each time I pick up this project I feel like I’m being whisked away to the beach!

And Dances With Wool and Swift Yarns Simple have made up kits of these two gorgeous yarns together for the shop’s Pure Joy KAL!!!
