notes:
If the stitch preceding the edge/selvedge stitches is a purl, then you don’t need to move the yarn before continuing - as the yo is created automatically.

12th: first half done
13th: picked up provisional stitches for second half - it’s very cleverly done so that the leaves are not offset at all! :)
In order to make the centre leaves look symmetrical (to me as I was knitting it!- not so sure now… see the third pic from the bottom for a close up of the centre point), after the 2 set up rows for the second half I continued on row 5 of the chart.

The pattern is such that you can customise the order of the lace sections if you wish. I did them a little differently:
rows 1-28 x 5, 29-32 x 3, 49-54 x 3 & 55-56 x 8 - & my scarf is slightly longer:
Blocking dimensions - 33cm wide by 202cm long.

(If I had followed the pattern order as written, I estimate I would have used approx 380yds).

The first picture shows the colour most accurately.

Update: Actually I haven’t worn it because once my younger sister saw a picture of it, she said she wanted it. I hope she wasn’t just being polite, because it is wrapped for her for xmas!!!!
I’m a bit gutted because I love it, but I also love my sis!
