I had some leftover yarn from a sweater, so I decided to make another hat. This is my go-to pattern for ribbed hats - I’ve knit lots of them!

This hat in particular is getting donated to charity, through my library’s “mitten tree,” which will benefit low-income school children and their families in my community.

I knit about 9 inches before starting my decreases. I accidentally added an extra row between each of the decreases (3 rows between decreases instead of 2) so this ended up a little longer than anticipated. It worked out fine, though. Finished length 12 inches after washing and blocking.
