Started sometime in early June (didn’t note exact date). I added a stitch (well, two, one for each side) at either edge because the pattern goes right out to the edge and I like to use this edge method, which is basically a selvedge edge - so my total cast-on was 604 stitches (302 per color). I did two plain rows at the beginning before starting on the charts, because I find knitting that first row after the cast-on annoying enough without trying to follow the pattern at the same time.

I found it very helpful to place a marker at the place where each chart ends -- helps me make sure I have the stitch counts right.

I used this cast-on method, and this bind-off method.

July 8: 124 rows (20%)

July 16: 180 rows (30%)

July 28: 240 rows (40%)

August 8: 300 rows -- halfway there!

August 18: 360 rows (60%)

August 25: 420 rows (70%)

September 2: 480 rows (80%)

September 14: 540 rows (90%) - so close!

September 21, 2020 - DONE!

I estimate that it took about a half-hour per row, on average, so this was approximately 300 hours’ worth of work all told.
