A knitting group friend knitted this for her granddaughter - I love the idea, so simple and cozy. My baby is due very soon and I have been looking for a swaddling blanket so this is just perfect. Needs to be a very quick knit though, due date is in 2 weeks!

13/9 started knitting bottom flap
14/9 finished bottom flap
15-16/9 knitted increases before middle panel
17/9 day off - need to go buy long circular needles tomorrow to be able to continue this.
18-19/9 didn’t manage to get out of the house to buy the needles so I squeezed 194 stitches on normal needles. A bit tight! 2/3 of the middle panel done.
22/9 finished middle panel. Baby shows no signs of being on his way just yet so looks like I’ll make it on time…
23/9 Finished knitting! Ends still to be weaved in.
24/9 Ends weaved in, 100% finished! When’s the baby coming…?

26/9 due date
