For the first set of hand thingies (that I gave away), I followed the pattern to a tee.

For the 2nd set, which I made for myself, since there was plenty of yarn left over, I made the following modifications:

• The cuff does provide a nice contrast to the slip stitch pattern. But I wanted something a little bit less bulky. So I opted for a 3x1 rib, where the purl stitch lines up with the slip stitch. It looks OK, but not as nice as the cuff in the pattern.
• For the wrist portion, shortened that to 10 rows, since I didn’t want the gloves to be too long.
• Did a normal BO done knit-wise. The edges curl a little bit, but some blocking may help.
