Three attempts to find the right number of sts and needle size.
First attempt: cast on with needle 2mm, and then too tigh with needle … 1,5 mm.
Second attempt: could have casted on more loosely (with 2,25mm), knit with 1,75mm. Finally didn’t like the triangles (after 2/3 of the knitting).
Third attempt: loosely CO with 2,25 mm needle, knit with 2 mm needle.

Cuff: twisted ribbing
Body of mitten, thumbless for the little one, doubled sts to do it in double knitting.
