So everyone in my house ended up horribly sick for the two weeks leading up to Christmas. No one got their shopping done on time, I certainly did not finish this gift on time, and recovery was slow and gross. Antibiotics all around. Whatever that upper respiratory infection was that was going around - it was awful. So we ended up pushing Christmas back until January.

Finished Chart B tonight, going to knock out C tomorrow and block tomorrow night. The variegation is a little intense, but I think once the lace has a chance to soak and open up that it will look pretty cool. And these beads are gorgeous with it. Hard to photograph accurately.

Finished! It took a couple of serious marathon knitting nights, but it’s finally finished. I forgot how LONG those last three rows feel. Whew. But it’s had a soak, been all pinned out and will pose for some glamour shots tomorrow afternoon.
