I started making solid granny squares while I was waiting for a new section of a test pattern I was working on. I had a LOT of leftovers of my fruit of the garden blanket and first made all of the color squares.

Then I set it aside for a bit (test pattern was my priority) and then started on the grey squares. It was very easy to connect the squares with the suggested join as you go method.

I will give this blanket to my favorite kid in homework class where I volunteer
