I mostly refer to pictures and comments. Could actually knit them without purchasing a pattern.

Cast on 50 sts, German twisted , size 4mm
2x2 rib - 1 row
cable, 3 rows in rib (3 times)
rib - 18 rows, loosely

Switched to 4.5mm needles.
2 sts Increase
3 rws knit

start the pattern

white/gray dots - decrease 2 sts, for tapering

switch to 4mm needles
rib - 15 rows, tight
Cast-off loosely
