I couldn’t wait and started on it right away.

I admit, I don’t have the cowl pattern directions, just know the pattern itself.
So I studied lots of images.

I came up with crocheting it in spiral. Not sure how the original pattern suggest crocheting it.

I chained 99 stitches.
First round - all hdc, then start the patterning., last row is hdc as well.
